Ways to Get Involved

Attend a table

Share your stories and ideas by attending one of the conversations all around Gallatin County. Join a friend or colleague's table or find a public table. Diverse perspectives and ideas for solutions are welcomed and needed!

How does it work?

  • Our public tables will be hosted by community members

  • These tables are open to all! Anyone can attend a public table.

  • As public table hosts sign up we will add them to the calendar. Find a time and table that works for you and RSVP using the link provided

  • All public tables will be limited to 10 participants

Host a Private Table

Talking with neighbors and friends over a meal or cup of coffee is a time-honored tradition. It’s also a great way to discuss important issues affecting our region’s future. A Seat at the Table gives you the opportunity to connect with neighbors and colleagues, hear from those you may not already know and together, inspire action. Anyone can be a host and all are invited to participate.

How does it work?

  • Your A Seat at the Table get together can take place at any time on October 14th, 2021. Not a convenient day? Host a table any day through October 31st.

  • Meet when it is most convenient for you and your guests. Have your conversation over breakfast, lunch, dinner or any time in between.

  • You can invite friends, coworkers, family members and more! You are responsible for inviting your guests to your table. We encourage 6-8 guests around your table.

  • You can host an A Seat at the Table conversation at your home, office, place of worship, school, library, restaurant or anywhere! There does not even have to be a table!

  • You are welcome to hold the conversation anywhere you and your guests feel comfortable, whether that is virtual or in person.

Host a Public Table

Some community groups, individuals and businesses are signing up as Public Table Hosts. As a Public Table Host, your public table locations/virtual links and time frames will be listed on our website. That way, anyone in our community can join the conversation! Public Table Hosts are asked to manage their own tables on this day. We will be asking you to promote your own public table through your information channels (email lists, social media, etc.). Consider inviting customers, employees, and more.
